GCV Worship is a lively and welcoming community that offers contemporary Christian music on Sunday mornings. Worship is not just about leading the congregation in song; it is a shared passion for music and worship among individuals who want to spread that passion to others. The Worship Ministry offers opportunities for anyone to participate in various aspects of worship, whether on stage, in our tech booth, or elsewhere.
GCV worship
The GCV Worship team helps set the table for a simple and authentic worship experience on Sunday morning. We utilize a full band of drums, electric, bass, and acoustic guitars, keys, and vocals to play Contemporary Christian Music.
Our Tech Team helps with sound, lighting, and the livestream of both our services on Youtube, Facebook, and our website.
Not your mommas choir
This is our church choir, but with a twist! No director, no robes, no special parts - simply worship! Once a quarter NYMC joins the worship team on Sunday mornings. They joy and energy they bring is such a welcome addition to the service! No experience is necessary, just bring your heart for worship.

Once a month a group of creatives come together to share songs they’ve wrote, and to work on Vineyard originals.

Once a month, our worship ministry hosts an intensive class for those interested in joining the worship team! Each session highlights a different part of the team to make onboarding and training simple! We are always looking for people to join and this helps focus our efforts on each part of the team throughout the year.
